Supporting clinical research to improve the quality of life for people living with HIV / AIDS

International Development

St Stephen's AIDS Trust firmly believe that encouraging best treatment for people living with HIV and AIDS through the developing world is an important part of its role, and in reflection of this the charity's education and training work has now expanded well beyond the UK.  We have an active programme of education and training skills, both through workshops and extended study visits,  for individuals and groups who come to us at the Chelsea & Westminster Hospital.    We also support physicians and nurses from the UK to provide workshops and teaching visits in resource poor countries, in particular Vietnam, China, India and sub-Saharan Africa.

In addition, we have recently supported research into cheaper, more viable options for HIV treatment in resource poor settings.
