PK Research Ltd (PKR)  & St Stephen's Research Ltd (SSR)  perform high quality, patient focused research into HIV and hepatitis infections, and other therapeutic areas, from 'first into man' to post marketing phase.

Based at the Chelsea & Westminster Hospital, the centre of excellence with one of the largest HIV patient cohorts in Europe,    PKR and SSR offer an exemplary clinical environment for both patients and employees.

VISION

We aim to be the first choice for therapeutic research in all drug development phases for pharmaceutical companies, the Medical Research Council (MRC)  and grant donors.  

We deliver best  performance in clinical drug trials, pharmacokinetic / pharmacodynamic research, understanding of metabolism and the impact of pharmacological agents on metabolism, immunotherapy and immune function.   We participate in the evaluation of new diagnostics, adherence interventions and other interventions aimed at improving patient quality of life.
