Courses

In addition to our research work, our charity works with Chelsea and Westminster Hospital HIV/GUM unit to provide training of the highest quality and greatest relevance to a wide of healthcare professionals. Our courses are continously under review to ensure they meet the changing needs of todays national health service and that delegates are provided with the most up to date and relevant information in all issues relating to HIV and sexual health.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: £195

Essential for all those who need an in-depth overview of HIV including diagnosis, current treatments, HIV testing, adherence and resistance, mental health problems, ethical issues and a patient panel.

SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED INFECTIONS FOUNDATION (STIF) Course

Topics include epidemiology; principles of STI service provision; sexual history skills; how to raise STIs in primary care; management of sexual partners; challenges of health promotion; HIV testing in practice; clinical scenarios and management.
